Spanning the Generations.

VH-XBA (formerly VH-EBA) was in the twilight of her years when Shaun Bonnett was born in 1991 and even the Boeing 747 which had inherited the VH-EBA registration had been gone from the Qantas fleet for seven years. Norman King (QFM's Flight Operations Administrator) was still flying as a Qantas Flight Engineer but he too could see retirement on the horizon. With Norm now in retirement and young Shaun about to begin a career as an aircraft engineer, one wonders what aviation will be like when Shaun retires. Photo: Norm King
