Boeing
707-138B VH-EBA City of Melbourne amongst the palm trees at Eagle
Farm, Brisbane on 17 December 1964, coincidentally the 61st anniversary
of the Wright Brothers' first flight. The aircraft was operating QF737
Sydney-Brisbane-Singapore-Bangkok-New Delhi-Teheran-Rome-London. The
igloo building at extreme right is what passed for Brisbane's International
Terminal at the time. Peeking out from behind the terminal is a TAA
Viscount. The motor vehicles (as identified by Robert Phillips) are
left to right: Simca station wagon, Morris 1100 and Vauxhall Viva.
