This
flown cover was carried Perth-Adelaide-Sydney on Boeing 707-338C A20-623
(formerly VH-EAC) on 15 December 1989, on the last day of Operation
Immune when the aircraft was carrying civilian passengers during
the airline pilots' dispute. Crew on this flight were: FLTLT M.E. Lewin,
Captain; FLGOFF Cadolo; PLTOFF Vidler; WOFF Forsyth; WOFF Pretlove;
WOFF Gwynne; WOFF Loveday; CPL Raisbeck; CPL Maidment; CPL Jones; LACW
Maye; LACW McHugh; CPL Gutheridge; LAC Dewhurst; CPL Miller. Sadly,
SQNLDR Mark Lewin and WOFF Allan Gwynne were later to lose their lives
in the crash of A20-103 off the coast from East Sale on 29 October 1991.
