WHY WE DID IT

Peter, Tennay, Jerida and James (in the vehicle saving his hearing) travelled by road from Townsville with their parents Victor and Julie-Anne Burgess to see XBA perform her magic at Longreach on 7 April. Now professed 707istes, they extol the virtues of Mr Boeing's beautiful bird to all who care to listen. They represent the age group for which the volunteers worked so happily, so that history would be real and tangible for theirs and following generations.
